Gorillaz have revealed that they will release a track titled "Doyathing" later this month, for Converse's "Three Artist, One Song" campaign.
The single will feature Andre 3000 from Outkast, and LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy. Previously, Graham Coxon from Blur also recorded a track for the campaign called "Desire" with Paloma Faith and Bill Ryder-Jones.
Damon Albarn also told The Sun that a 12 minute, unedited version of the track will be released in the future.
The single will be available for free download on Converse.co.uk on Feb 23rd 2012.

Gorillaz will reveal Converse Single title on Feb 9th 2012
Murdoc from Damon Albarn's cartoon band Gorillaz has uploaded a broadcast on his official Soundcloud to announce that he will be revealing the title of a Gorillaz collaboration track, with shoe brand Converse on February 9th 2012 - 1 day away!

Apparently the new Gorillaz Converse single will be featuring Andre 3000 from Outkast, an American Hip Hip duo fro Georgia, USA.
Murdoc tweeted a picture a few days ago, which was briefly leaked by Converse on their site (but it's gone now) that showed a picture drawing that was identical to Andre 3000's outfit for a November photoshoot in GQ 2011 (click here to view).
Looks like Gorillaz fans out there wil be getting a smashing hip-hop style/ rap single, perhaps sounding like Clint Eastwood or Feel Good Inc !

NEW GORILLAZ SONG for February 2012 release
The series has brought together rapper Soulja Boy, Andrew WK and Matt And Kim to record a collaboration and also saw Graham Coxon, Paloma Faith and ex-The Coralguitarist Bill Ryder-Jones collaborate to record a track together in 2010.
The track will come out to coincide with the release of a new collection of Converseshoes, which have been created in association with Gorillaz and feature a heel tab by the band's design guru Jamie Hewlett.
The band will also host a special club night next month. The night, which is under the name Gorillaz Sound System, will be held at London's 100 Club on December 1.

Meanwhile, Gorillaz will be releasing a career-spanning compilation to celebrate their ten-year anniversary later this month. 'The Singles Collection: 2001-2011' is due out on November 28.
